As you know yoga means union, and it connects the mind and body, etc. There are lots of yogis who have given different definitions of yoga, but I am giving a view of what I felt in my personal practice, and what a yoga practitioner or a normal human being needs to know. Yoga is a technique, which helps man to develop a deep awareness of him of every vibration and pulsation within, at the body, mind and intellect levels, by the virtue of which he can master the forces internal and external. Yoga is a key for self enfoldment and self improvement. TO ME- “YOGA IS JUST UNDERSTANDING ABOUT YOURSELF” Yoga helps to increase inner strength, sharpens our intellect, teaches us to control our emotions and brings a rare concentration and efficiency into our actions and work, making us do the right thing in the right way at the right time. TO ME-“IT IS OFTEN DESCRIBED AS SKILL IN ACTION” Practice can increase our lung capacity and respiration, improve our ability to resist stress, reduce body weight, decrease cholesterol and blood sugar level, restore and vitalize the body’s natural systems.
